Camden Stanley Pfeiffer was a beautiful, bright light in this world that was extinguished too soon; at 13 years old, in 2025.
His friends and family describe him as their “number one cheerleader”, having a “smile that could light up the whole room”, and giving the “biggest, most authentic hugs.” Most importantly though, Cam was best described as kind. The kind of kindness this world and the people in it need. Kindness for anyone and everyone, without thought or second guessing. It seemed to come so easily and naturally to him. It was a Cam-type of kindness.
When the news of Cam’s passing swept through all the lives that he touched, his family was left with a gaping hole in their hearts and lives that seemed too immense to fill. However, in a way only the mysteries of the universe can tell us, Cam’s Kindness seemed to flow through everyone in that moment. Love, support, and resources began seeping out of every corner and crevice of their lives. At a time when the ground underneath them suddenly opened up to swallow them whole, there were people at every vantage point lifting them up. It did not change the tragic outcome of that day, but it helped in a deep and soul-defining way.
